Do not expose your feet to extreme climate i.e., extreme cold or extreme heat.

If you want to keep your nails clean and white, just soak them in warm water for three minutes. Then put two Alka-Seltzers in the mix and soak until it stops fizzing!

Also you can clean yellow nails with 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide. Another variant is to use the mixture of glycerin with hydrogen peroxide (proportion 1:5). To get the better effect try to make the mixture of glycerin, perhydrol and distilled water (proportion 1:1,5:4).

If you are not satisfied with result, try mechanic way of whitening. Soak the nails to help them soften in the warm bath with soap and salt water for 10 minutes. And then pumice upper yellow layer of nails.

Keep a little dish of oil (sweet almond is best but any oil will do) next to your bed and before going to bed, gently rub a little of the oil into your fingernails every night and see how strong and shiny they get.

3 times a week soak nails in a cup of milk for 10 minutes. 5 minutes on each hand and watch nails grow fast and their strong as ever!

Have you seen the first wrinkles on the forehead?Forehead wrinkles can develop with aging, but sometimes it happens in the young age too. As you age, you will lose elasticity in your skin. Besides your age, there are also environmental factors that can contribute to the creation of wrinkles, such as exposure to sunlight, your diet, and your lifestyle. Wrinkles on your forehead tend to be either vertical lines between your eyebrows, or a series of horizontal lines below the hairline and across the entire forehead. You must admit that it is not very beautiful.

When you see the first wrinkles, everyday massage with piece of fresh or salted cucumber will be very effective. Move the 'circlet' of cucumber from left to right by circular motions. Cucumber juice absorbing, wets the skin and after drying it makes the skin mask, which is recommended to keep for 30 minutes. Then rinse face with cool water.

Generally there are many preventative measures you can take to prevent or slow the process that creates the wrinkles, one of which is to use sunscreen when outdoors, as this will prevent sun damage to your skin.

Being aware of how your face moves is a very important step in the prevention of wrinkles. Facial movements during speaking, laughing, and frowning are great contributing factors to the creasing of the skin in the forehead area. Repetition of these movements in the face will lead to static wrinkles. Training your facial muscles to move differently will minimize the creasing of the area.

If wrinkles are very deep, use my recipe of… paper band. Take the band of smooth white paper (tracing paper or parchment) and wet it in the warm water. Put thin layer of nourishing cream on the surface. Smooth out wrinkles by hand and put prepared paper band on the forehead. Cover with elastic bandage above. At the first time keep the band on the forehead for 15-20 minutes. Then enlarge the time of procedure till 30-40 minutes. Do you want to increase the result? Make the procedure 1-2 times every day. You'll feel the efficiency of the procedure, when trying to knit your brow, and you can't do it. Feeling of the bandage on the forehead will prevent you.

Five recipes from reddening of handsEveryone knows that in autumn and winter our hands need in the special care. Frost, wind, dry air indoors, lack of vitamins have action upon the condition of the hands. Also one of unpleasant “winter” problems is reddening of hands. The tried way, which helps to avoid this problem, is hands-bathes with various “additions” – decoction from oak bark, milk, sea or table salt, decoction from bark of bird cherry tree. Here you’ll find some original recipes, which will help you to make your hands smooth and white. Generally in the cold seasons wear gloves or mittens. It protects hand skin from drying and reddening.

When your hands become red, you can make cycle of bathes from cold and hot water, alternating them (so-called contrasting hands-bathes). Repeat the procedure 10-15 times finishing with cold bath. Before sleep massage with nourishing enriched cream is recommended.

Every day wash hands with warm water adding some drops of milk or cream. Redness of hands will disappear little by little.

Bathes with sea salt have great effect in this case. Take 200 g. of sea salt and add 1 liter of water and boil for some time. Then cool a little and you’ll get hot “sea” water. Put hands into it for 15 minutes and then put hands into cold water for 5 minutes. Repeat some times. After procedure put any cream on the hands.

Prepare the decoction from oak bark with proportion 50-100 g. of bark for 3-5 liters of water. Put hands in the warm bath for 15 minutes.

For skin, which is too sensitive to supercooling, inclined to appearance of cyanotic spots, edemas and even erosions, you’d better to make hands-bathes from bark of bird cherry tree. To make such decoction, take 2 table-spoons of bark and add 1 liter of water.

Original masks from hawsYou always can find beautiful vinous hawthorn berries in any deciduous forest in autumn. Gather them and use while they are fresh. Haws have regenerative effect, increase vitality and makes metabolism in the skin better. Various masks are offered for any type of skin.

For normal skin. Pound pulp of one cleaned eggplant (without seed). Take 1 table-spoon of gruel of eggplant and add 1 tea-spoon of juice from haws, mix everything. Put on the face skin and keep for 20 minutes. Then wash the face with warm water. Mask softens skin and enriches it with vitamins.

For dry skin. Knead some grapes of any green sort to get 1 table-spoon of pulp and add 1 tea-spoon of juice from haws. Mix everything and put on the face for 20-30 minutes. Then wash with warm water. Such mask nourishes face skin, enriches and moistens it.

For greasy skin. Mix 1 tea-spoon of juice from haws with 1 table-spoon of clabber, add 3 table-spoons of non-fat curd and knead everything. Put the mask on the face for 10 minutes and then wash with warm water. Mask nourishes skin and makes skin color better.

For sensitive skin. Cut cabbage leaf into small particles. Mix in 1 tea-spoon of juice from haws, honey and 2 table-spoons of cabbage gruel. In 10 minutes, when cabbage becomes imbued, put the mixture on the face and keep for 15-20 minutes. Then wash the face with warm water.

For withered skin. Mix 1 tea-spoon of juice from haws and 1 tea-spoon of juice from aloe. Pour it with ½ glass of water. Boil for some minutes, and then filter. Wet the napkin in the decoction and put on the face. In 20 minutes wash the face.

For all types of skin. Take 1 table-spoon of ground pulp of squash, add 1 tea-spoon of juice from haws and mix everything. Put the mixture on the napkin and put it on the face. Leave for 30 minutes and then wash the face with warm water.

Maybe you've heard how important is water for your health, figure and well-being many times, but everything your body does it does better with a healthy supply of water, because every system in your body depends on water. Pour 2 table-spoons of dried oak bark with ½ liter of water and boil for 5 minutes. Then filter the decoction and use for cleaning the facial skin.

Also you can add juice of small grapefruit and 1 table-spoon of spirit to oak decoction. This lotion is usually used 2-3 times a day for skin with acne and pustules. After procedure rinse the face with warm water.

Cucumber diet

The main dish of the diet is a special salad from cucumbers. Cut 1 kg of fresh cucumbers (150 kcal) and add 30 g of mayonnaise or sour cream (90 kcal). You can add some salt but you’d better to avoid using of the salt. Flavor all with green by your taste (dill, parsley, coriander, basil, celery).

Such salad is divided for 3 food intakes: the first is at 12- 2 p.m., the second one is at 4-5 p.m. and the third is at 7-8 p.m. You can add 1 tea-spoon (not more!) last cucumber meal. Also you can eat about 50 g of black bread with each meal.

If you feel that you are hungry, you can take microcrystalline cellulose: 5 pills during a day 20-30 minutes before meal, drinking 1-2 glasses of boiled water. At 10-11 p.m. eat one big apple or 2 oranges, a pear or banana. Breakfast and coffee/tea with sugar are permitted as usual.

Well, let’s count calories:
240 kcal – cucumber + mayonnaise
300 kcal – 150 g of bread
100 kcal – fruits at night
200 kcal – breakfast
60 kcal – tea/coffee/sugar at work
Altogether – 900 kcal a day.

Resolve five common skin care problems!

Your skin has the ability to heal, renew and protect itself with the proper care. The causes of skin imperfections include hormonal changes, reduction in collagen production, free-radical damage, poor nutrition, solar radiation and pollution. If you have problem skin, choose products that optimize your skin's ability to repair itself.

Broken Capillaries: Dry, delicate or mature skin that is thin and fragile is most susceptible to broken capillaries. When blood no longer pumps through the tiny capillaries and the capillary walls weaken, they lose their elasticity, collapse and become visible on the surface. Abrasive cleansers and facial scrubs, alcohol, caffeine, certain drugs, harsh cosmetics, forceful massage, cold weather, extreme winds, overexposure to the sun and spicy foods can all be triggers. Protecting your skin in cold or windy weather can help prevent broken capillaries. Bioflavonoid supplements may reduce redness and strengthen capillaries. Again, vitamin C comes to the rescue with its ability to even out skin tone and boost collagen production, reduce skin damage caused by free radicals and improve skin texture.

Rosacea: Although the cause of the disorder is unknown, it is clear that rosacea is aggravated by extremes of temperature, sunlight, alcohol, hot drinks, spicy foods and emotional stress. They cause the already congested and weakened blood vessels to dilate even further and the skin's sensitive surface to become irritated and inflamed. People with naturally thin skin may also be more prone to the condition.

Rosacea is typically found in light-skinned patients and may be exacerbated by estrogens or changes in hormones. Tartar control toothpaste can also provoke it. For rosacea-prone skin skin-care products are recommended that contain green tea extract, which has a calming effect. For rosacea and broken capillaries you need avoid products that contain alcohol, a lot of fragrance or antiaging ingredients, such as high concentrations of vitamin C or glycolic acid. Perspiring face skin is very unpleasant thing. I think I do not have a need to describe the characteristics of such kind of problem. Sure many people know it not by hearsay. But this defect can be corrected, if you have patience to make the whole complex of special measures. All procedures are easy. Don’t remember to make them every day and in some time your face will stop to perspire.

In the morning wash your face with extract of cold tea (green tea is better) and leave for drying up on the face.

Banana mask is as original sedative for skin. You need 1 banana, 1 table-spoon of honey, some drops of lemon or orange juice. Make banana puree, add honey and mix carefully. Add juice and put the mask on the face. Wash the face in 15 minutes.

Herbal mask against acne fits both adults and teenagers. Grind ½ cup of mint and ½ cup of coriander. Add some water and add 1 table-spoon of zinc-powder, mix everything carefully and put on the face. Wait for some minutes and wash the face.

Clay mask for problem skin is very universal. It cleans skin very well and also nourishes and moistens skin effectively. You need black clay, 1 tea-spoon of honey, water or milk, favorite essential oil. Mix water or milk with clay (proportion 2:1); add honey, some drops of essential oil. Put the mask on the face and keep for 15 minutes.

Nature presents autumn lotions

Lotions, containing natural juices, infusions and decoctions, clean, whiten and nourish skin like any creams or masks. But what is the special feature of lotions? Thanking their liquid consistence, lotions work faster and get into skin easier. Homemade lotions are easy to make. You can make them a little at a time or prepare for future use. Why should we make them in September? Nature presents us her lavish gifts and we should use them in time.

Well, here are two masks from melon. For withered skin – knead pulp of melon with fork and keep for 2 hours, then squeeze juice into glassy dish. Mix 2 glasses of melon juice with 2 table-spoons of honey and 1 tea-spoon of salt carefully and then add 1 glass of vodka. Rub washed face skin with lotion in any time. Keep lotion in the fridge. Melon lotion for dry skin – mix 1 table-spoon of melon juice with 1 table-spoon of milk and 1 table-spoon of mineral water. Rub skin in the morning and evening. Make this lotion on one day and keep it in the fridge.

Lotions from quince. For greasy skin – beat up white of 1 egg; add ½ glass of quince juice, cologne and camphor spirit. Mix everything carefully. This lotion makes skin tender and smooth. For dry skin – Cut quince and pour with warm boiled water. In 2-3 hours pour infusion out and add 10 ml. of vodka or spirit for every 100 ml. of infusion. Rub the skin in the morning. For any type of skin – Mix 1 table-spoon of quince juice, 1 tea-spoon of glycerin or cologne. Rub face skin in the morning and evening.

Lotions from watermelon. For greasy skin – Pour 2 table-spoons of horse-tail with 150 ml. of warm boiled water, close and stay for night. In the morning filter infusion and add watermelon juice (proportion: 1 table-spoon of juice for 3 table-spoons of infusion) and 1 tea-spoon of vodka for every portion of watermelon juice. Rub skin some times a day. For any type of skin – mix in 2 table-spoons of watermelon juice, plum juice and peach juice. Add 1 tea-spoon of vodka and mix carefully. Keep the lotion in the fridge. Use this tonic lotion some times a day.

Lotion from grapes. For dry skin – Mix a yolk with 50 g. of vegetable oil, add juice of ½ lemon and 50 g. of vodka. Squeeze juice from fresh grapes and pour ½ glass of juice into mixture. Stay for 2-3 hours in the fridge and then you can use it.

Lotion from sea-buckthorn for any type of skin. Pour mixture from 2 table-spoons of sea-buckthorn berries and 2 table-spoons ground sea-buckthorn leaves with 2 glasses of boiling water. Close the mixture and stay for 24 hours. Then filter and add 2 table-spoons of vodka. Clean the face in the morning and evening.

Onion against acne

You’ll be surprised known that onion, this kitchen vegetable, can be used in the fight against acne, for skin whitening and so on. Today I offer some recipes of masks for face skin from onion. These masks fit for all types of skin.

Mask from plum against acne. Take 1 table-spoon of onion juice, pulp of 7 cooked plums and 2 tea-spoons of olive-oil. Mix all ingredients and put on the face, especially on the area of acne. Leave for 30 minutes and then wash the face.

Take 1 table-spoon of onion juice, 1 table-spoon of carrot juice, 1 yolk and 1 table-spoon of olive-oil. Mix all ingredients carefully and put on the face. Wash the mask from face in 20 minutes. This mask has tonic effect.

Take 2 table-spoon of onion juice, 1 pear and ¼ glass of milk. Knead a pear and mix pulp with milk and onion juice. Put on the face and leave for 15-20 minutes. It is mask for skin whitening.

Also you can make another mask from freckles. You need ½ of apple, 1 table-spoon of honey, 1 tea-spoon of ascorbic acid, 1 yolk, 1 table-spoon of apple vinegar, 3 table-spoons of vegetable oil and 2 table-spoons of onion juice. Mix all ingredients carefully. Put on the places with freckles and leave for 30 minutes. Generally apples and apple vinegar recover acid skin integument and have tonic effect for skin.

If you have wrinkles on the skin and feel discomfort because of skin dryness, you need potato mask. Take 1 table-spoon of onion juice, 1 potato, ¼ l. of milk and 1 table-spoon of honey. Boil a potato in milk and make potato mash, mix with honey and onion juice. Put on the face and leave for 20 minutes. For more effectiveness mask can be washed with mineral water.

Cranberries for skin of the head

Usually juice and pulp of cranberries are used for greasy skin of the head. Today I offer some effective recipes of masks from this excellent berry. These masks will give your hair silkiness, softness and luster.

Knead 2 table-spoons of cranberries in the ceramic bowl. Add 1 tea-spoon of lemon juice and mix carefully. Also add 1 tea-spoon of potato flour and mix again. Here is another mask for head. Knead 2 table-spoons of cranberries in the ceramic bowl; add 1 beaten yolk and 2 tea-spoons of sour cream. Mix everything carefully and add 1 table-spoon of flour, mix again. Put the mask on the head and hair. Cover head with polyethylene and bath towel. In 40-50 minutes wash head with soft shampoo for greasy hair.

Some details of skin peeling

To know own type of skin is very important before different procedures of skin care, including skin peeling. If you have greasy skin, you should make peeling of face skin once in 5 days. If your skin is dry, you should make peeling once in 10 days.

Also the final part of this procedure depends on type of skin. Wash scrub from greasy skin with warm water at first and then rinse face with cold water. But from dry skin scrub is washed only with warm water. For sensitive skin use the water of room-temperature. After peeling rub the face with tonic and put nourishing cream for your type of skin.

Make special mask-scrubs for face skin, which peel dead parts of skin and soften renewed skin. And of course, don’t forget about your own type of skin. This mask is for dry and sensitive skin. Take 2 table-spoons of sour cream and add 1 table-spoon of ground coffee.

For greasy skin take 2 table-spoons of kefir and add 1 table-spoon of big salt (marine salt is better). Mix everything and use as usually. After such peeling, face skin will become smooth and matt.

Sure summer is the best time for vacation. We enjoy sun, sea, warm sand. Women wear open clothes, sabot. And almost every piece of skin is opened rapt looks of men. And of course, one of the most important parts for women in summer is area of décolleté. Today I offer some recipes and tips for skin in the area of décolleté.

If the skin isn’t very clean, with acne, you should rub skin on the shoulders, upper parts of the back and breast with lotion from calendula. To prepare lotion, pour 1 table-spoon of dried flowers of calendula with 2 glasses of boiling water and leave for an hour. Then add 2 table-spoons of vodka or cologne.

To make breast skin healthy and to saturate it with oxygen, prepare rejuvenated lotion. Boil 2 tea-spoons of dried mint in the ½ liter of water for 2 minutes. Then add fruit vinegar and keep to cool. Add 2 table-spoons of rose water and rub upper parts of breast and back regularly. Keep lotion in the bottle from dark glass.

Generally you can make very simple masks for décolleté skin care. Put sour cream, kefir or sour milk on the neck, area of décolleté, shoulders. In 15 minutes wash mask with warm water. Such masks nourish skin very good and renew its elasticity.

And finally here is the special mask for area of décolleté. Mix 1 table-spoon of curd with 1 table-spoon of any cream (I use Nivea in blue tin). Put the mask on the skin for 20 minutes. Then wash the mask with warm water and rinse with cool water.

Natural skin whitening

In summer face skin pigmentation becomes plainly visible. Those, who know what this is, agree with me that it is not good-looking. Are there any means helping to get rid of pigmental spots? Yes, there are some. Cosmetologists usually advise to use whitening and peeling means. Of course you can use natural means too. For example, lemon juice, viburnum juice, and also juice of red currant, sauerkraut, fresh cucumber, parsley, grapefruit. You always find the whitening mean in every season.

You’ll get the good result making compresses with wine vinegar and clabber. Wet wad of cotton wool in 5% solution of vinegar and put on the pigmental spot. In 10 minutes put compress from clabber mixed with wheat flour on the same place. Proportion is ¼ glass of clabber to 1 tea-spoon of flour. Make such compress every day for one week and then every other day. When spots become lighter use this procedure once a week.

Mask from sauerkraut can be made every day. Wet napkins in the juice of sauerkraut and put on the pigmental areas 3 times one by one for 10 minutes.

Mask from beans is easy-made and effective. Pour 1,5 glass of beans with 1,5 glass of water and keep to infuse for 36 hours. Then knead, squeeze and add juice of one lemon. Put this mixture on the face before going to bed. If skin is oily, make this mask every other day, if skin is dry, make mask twice a week.

Masks for eyebrows

To prevent shedding of the eyebrows’ hairs I advise masks from fig or lotion from calendula. It’s very useful and easy-made means. They strengthen the hair roots but it can be used only for one month. If there isn’t desired effect, you should stop the procedures.

Boil soft dried fruits of fig in the milk and put on the linen. Cover the area of eyebrows without hair with this linen. Put compress paper above and leave mask for 1 hour. You should make this mask every day during a month.

Also you can rub the healing oil mixture into eyebrows. Mix in 1 tea-spoon of vegetable oil and castor oil and add 2-3 drops of camphor oil.

And here is the recipe of calendula lotion. You should extract calendula infusion on vodka (proportion 1:10). Then dilute lotion with water and wet gauze bandages (4 layers). Put wetted gauze on the eyebrow skin and leave for 1-1,5 hours. Repeat the procedure every day during a month.

Today I offer some tips about aromatic baths. You can take such baths not oftener 2-3 times a week. And of course you should take a bath only if you are in good health and mood. Those who suffer from any chronic diseases, have to be circumspect with aromatic baths. You shouldn’t take a bath at once after meal, it’s better to wait for one-two hours. It’s better to take bath in the evening, because you shouldn’t go to the street at least 2 hours after bath.

Remember that bath with cool water relaxes and with hot water braces. But the main rule is water must be pleasant for you. You should add hot water during a procedure in order that water to stay in stable temperature.

Of course the use of bath depends on infusion but the view of flower petals improves your mood surely. If you like the pleasant smells, add in the water some drops of aromatic oil.

Baths for 10-15 minutes have restorative effect. Baths for more than 20 minutes have sedative effect. If you are on any diet, you shouldn’t take hot baths.

Before bath don’t forget to take a shower. Soap or gel for shower removes the protective acid-fat layer from skin and makes absorption of healing matters easier. And after aromatic bath you’d better to put cream on the body or t least any bath oil to keep useful matters in the hypodermic layer.

You shouldn’t stay motionlessly even in the relaxed bath. Change position; massage your body beginning from legs in direction to the heart. Especially energetically work up thighs, buttocks and back.

Peach masks for your hair

Peaches are used in cosmetic for hair with use. They make hair silky, healthy and soft. It is easy to make coiffure after peach mask. So it’s time to make one of two masks by my recipe.

If you have dry hair, make useful peach mask. Take two ripe peaches and knead in the ceramic dish carefully. Add 2 table-spoons of curd and 1 table-spoon of honey and mix all ingredients. Then add 1 table-spoon of vegetable oil in the mixture and mix again. Before washing head put mask on the head skin and cover head with any kerchief and bath towel above. In 30-40 minutes wash head with your shampoo and then rinse hair with camomile infusion. To make camomile infusion you should cut 1-2 camomile and pour it with 2 glasses of boiling water in the enamel ware. Boil 5 minutes. Then filter and cool.

If you have greasy hair, make mask from oat flour and peach. Take 2 ripe peaches and knead them in the ceramic dish carefully. Add 2 table-spoons of oat lour and mix. Put the mask on the head skin and hair. Cover head with piece of polyethylene and bath tower above. Leave for 40-50 minutes and then wash the head with your shampoo. Finally rinse hair with mixture of acidulous water (1 tea-spoon of vinegar of lemon acid for basin with water). Such mask takes away greasiness and makes hair soft and elastic.

Melon diet

Sure melon is a favorite fruit of many people and not in vain. Melon has a great number of folic acid and nicotinic acid, vitamin C and PP, pectin, carotene, salts of calcium, magnesium, ferric, phosphorus and sulfur. And the main thing is that melon is rich in rude vegetative cellulose. So melon can sate well, give much energy, split fat, take out cholesterol, slags and salts from organism. As a result your skin becomes beautiful and healthy. I offer the recipe of melon diet for one week with the same day menu.

Breakfast: 1 glass of boiled rice without salt, servicing with 1 tea-spoon of soybean sauce. And green or herbal tea without sugar.

Dinner: 200g of vegetable salad. Variants of salad – a) cucumbers, tomatoes, onion, 1 table-spoon of olive oil; b) cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, onion, greens, lemon juice for servicing; c) cucumbers, boiled beet and carrot, garlic, greens, lemon juice, 1 table-spoon of sour cream. Then the main dish for your choice – a) boiled fish, b) white meat of chicken, c) curds, d) lightly-boiled egg. And berry or fruit infusion (pour 2 table-spoons of berries with 1½ glass of boiling water and leave for 10 minutes and then filter; or replace berries by half an apple or pear).

Supper (since 4 p.m. till 9 p.m.): Pieces of melon little by little on the basis of 1 kg of melon to 30 kg of your weight. Calorie content of this diet is more than 1200 kilocalories, but you will lose weight. It’s the paradox of the melon diet. To my mind such diet is better for people, who suffer from lack of calories, or who is very active.

There are some rules of melon diet. Don’t eat sugar, potato, farinaceous foods, and confectionery in this week. Don’t eat any other food with melon. It doesn’t go with other products. Don’t drink after melon, except white wine. Don’t add melon in the fruit salad. Please, keep these rules. Melon is very capricious fruit.

SPA-salon in your own bathroom. Part II.

Royal bath (with rose). The first variant is - boil 3 handfuls of rose-petals with 2 glasses of boiling water and in 5 minutes pour into bath with warm water together with petals. The second variant – knead 250g of rose-petals with the same amount of baking powder. And add to the bath. Take such bath for 20-25 minutes. It relaxes calms and makes skin soft and silky.

Color bath (with basil). Basil gives the beautiful color for the bath water. Pour 150 gram of purple basil with 1 liter of boiling water and leave for 2-3 hours in the warm place. Then filter and add to bath with warm water. Take a bath for 20-25 minutes, adding hot water before comfort temperature. Use basil for aromatic baths if you can’t fall asleep.

Country bath (with tansy). You can use flowers of tansy or take flower baskets. Pour 3 bunches of tansy with 2 liters of boiling water and leave for 2-3 hours to infuse. Then filter and add to bath with warm water. Take a bath for 10-12 minutes. Such bath has disinfectant and anesthetic effects. Such bath will help the skin with small boils or acne. It takes away pain and tiredness from overworked legs.

Flower mixture (with jasmine, lily, lavender and dogrose). Mix in 1 handful of jasmine, lily, dogrose petals and lavender flowers and pour them with 3 liters of boiling water. Leave for 2 hours and then add to bath (don’t filter). Make the comfort temperature of water and take bath for 20 minutes. The effect from such bath I could call as the second birth.

Curative bath (with calendula and origanum). Mix 3 table-spoons of calendula petals and 2 table-spoons of origanum flowers. Pour mixture with 5 liters of boiling water and leave for 4 hours. Then filter and add to bath with warm water. Take such bath for 15-20 minutes. It helps to get rid of pustular eruptions on skin.

Meadow bath (with clover). Cut flowers of clover and pour 6 table-spoons of them with 2 liters of boiling water. Leave for an hour and then filter. Add infusion to bath with warm water. Take this bath for 10 minutes before night. Your skin will become soft, silky and well-nourished.

Blue bath (with cornflower). Pour 50g of cornflower’s petals with 2 liters of cold water and boil for 2-3 minutes. Then leave to infuse for 1,5-2 hours. Filter infusion and add to bath with warm water. Take bath for 15-17 minutes. This bath will help you to solve problems with skin. It’s better to make such bath every day for a week.

Pharmaceutical bath (with camomile). Cut 1 kg of fresh camomile and pour with 4 liters of cold water. Leave for 10 minutes and then boil for 5 minutes. Then leave for 10 minutes again and filter. Add to the bath with warm water. Duration of such bath is 20 minutes. Bath has disinfectant and antiphlogistic effect, gives skin flexibility, softness and heals small abrasions.

Fragrant bath (with lavender). Pour 1 kg of lavender flowers with 9 liters of boiling water and leave for 2 hours. Then filter and add to bath. Take this bath for 15-20 minutes. Such bath is very useful teenagers. It helps to neutralize various consequence age-related changes and to stimulate circulation of the blood.

Karma bath (with white carnation). Put flowers of 7 white carnations in the bath. Being in the bath you should rub yourself with flowers. Stay in the bath for 10 minutes and then take a shower. Camomile compress before mask

Those, who like to make various masks for face skin, know that face should be carefully cleaned before procedure. But it would be better to make special preparatory compress to get the best effect from any facial mask. Such compress makes skin soft, opens pores. Well, you should boil 2 table-spoons of camomile flowers with 1 glass of boiling water and leave to infuse for half an hour. Then filter infusion, add some boiling water to wet a towel. How to whiten nails

Remove old nail polish and wash hands. Then take small brush and clean all surface of nails by circular motions. Dry nails with the napkin touching easily.

Then you should mix 1 table-spoon of lemon juice (for nails whitening) and 1 table-spoon of dry quick-dissolving yeast (for nails polishing). Put the mixture on the every nail.

Polish nails’ surface with non-metal nail-file carefully in the direction from one side of nail to another side. It’s better to do about 20 times for every nail. When you feel that nail becomes hot, stop the procedure.

Wash hands again and dry with napkin. Put any oily cream for hands.

Don’t show your age

Usually they say that hands and neck are able to show real age most of all. If your hands and neck are well-groomed, nobody knows your real age and you’ll look younger. Generally we often forget to care about neck skin, though almost all means for face skin care are right for neck too. They are moistening, nourishing, sun creams, and special anti-aging masks.

Mix yolk with 100 gram of sour cream, add 1 table-spoon of vodka, juice of half a lemon or orange. Put the mixture on the neck skin and leave for 15-20 minutes. Then remove the mask with warm water and rinse neck with cold water.

Mask from green lettuce and clabber has rejuvenated effect. Chopped leaves of lettuce mix with clabber and put on the neck.

It’s very useful to rinse the neck with herbal infusions. You can use lime-blossom, camomile, sage, birch buds.

Mask from herbal mixture helps to smooth wrinkles. Take in equal parts camomile, mint, birch leaves, dandelion, flowers of rose and white lily and boil them. Mix 1 table-spoon of gruel with 1 table-spoon of curd and also add 1 tea-spoon of honey.

Those, who suffer from thyroid gland sickness, can use only olive oil for neck skin care. It’s better to make compresses from olive oil.

Oil for your skin

Apple diet for 3 days

The second and the third days: menu like in the first day and also you are permitted to eat 200 g of non-fat curd. As for drinking, there are two opinions, you can choose yourself. One way is that you should drink much, but herb infusions, not water. Or you should follow diet without drinking, because apples contain liquid. Choice depends on your feelings and requirements of organism.

You can’t compare this mask with any other one. I mean biologically strong and tonic mask from… meat. It was well-known even in times of Roman emperors. Now we have the recipe of that mask. And one interesting fact from history is here - Madam Pompadour put on her cheeks thin veal cutlets after cleaning the face with mixture of sugar and egg-white, wishing to get lively and fresh ruddiness.

Take 100 gram of lean fresh meat (veal is better) and mince meat. Mix with 1 table-spoon of vegetable oil and 1 beaten egg-white. Put on the face and leave for an hour. Then wash the face with warm water.

Masks for breast skin

Recipes for grease and dry hairs

You shouldn’t suffer from grease hair. Make the special lotion by yourself and use it after hair washing every time. This lotion will help your hair to be clean and will take surplus greasiness away. Pour 2 table-spoons of linden flowers with 500 ml. of boiling water. Boil 2-3 minutes on the light fire, and then filter. Add 1 table-spoon of vinegar or juice of 1 lemon, and 50 ml. of calendula extract (or eucalyptus) or camphor alcohol. Apply lotion on the dry hair after washing with cotton tampon.

To recover dry and thin hair you need to use oil masks. Before head washing you should apply castor oil onto hair roots. Cover the head with butter-paper and bath towel above. Leave mask for 2 hours, then wash head as usual. After washing rinse the head with mint infusion. To prepare it you should pour 2 table-spoons of mint with 200 ml. of boiling water. Infuse for 30 minutes and then filter.
Once a month make a special compress for hair recovering. Mix 1 beaten egg-yolk with 1table-spoon of castor oil. Rub warm mixture into head skin and apply on the hair. Cover head with piece of polyethylene and bath towel above. Leave for 1-2 hours. After compress wash head as usual.

Summer masks for skin

For normal skin. Take 2-3 plums, clean from peel and knead. Add ½ tea-spoon of sour cream and 1 tea-spoon of starch. Mix everything and put on the face and neck for 20-30 minutes. Then wash with warm water.

For normal and grease skin. Make juice from one peach. Add some milk and 1 table-spoon of oatmeal. Mix everything and put on the face for 20-30 minutes. Then wash with cold water. Here is another variant of this mask. Knead one peach and add 1 tea-spoon of starch or oat flour. Put mask on the face for 20 minutes and then wash with warm water.

For dry skin. Knead 1 peach and add some camomile infusion. Put on the face for 20 minutes and then wash with warm water. Nourishing lotion for dry skin is made from melon. Make juice from some layers of melon. Mix 1 table-spoon of juice with the same amount of boiled milk and mineral water. Clean face and neck with melon lotion twice a day. I want to remind that melon contains vitamin A, which is responsible for beauty and youth of skin. Also melon lotion has whitening effect.

For grease skin and skin with acne I recommend tomato mask. Put on the face layers of tomatoes with beaten white of egg. And clean acne face skin with mixture of tomato juice and glycerin.

For any type of skin. Make juice from melon. You need 2 table-spoons of melon juice. Mix 100 gram of semolina with 1 egg yolks (beaten). Add 2 tea-spoons of honey, ½ tea-spoon of salt and finally 2 table-spoons of melon juice. Put the mask on the face and neck for 15-20 minutes. This mask nourishes, refreshes, moistens and smoothes skin.

Vitamins for body skin

Don’t forget about your body skin. It needs in vitamins like a face skin. The best way of body skin care is various baths. It can be herbal baths, vitamin baths, salt baths and so on. Prepare the bath to your taste and enjoy it!

To make vitamin bath you need to mix in 1 part of raspberry and cowberry leaves, in 2 parts of sea-buckthorn and currant leaves, and in 3 parts of ashberry and dogrose leaves. Prepare infusion from them in proportion 100 gram of dry mixture for 2-3 liters of hot water. Boil the mixture on the fire for 15 minutes and then keep brewing for 45 minutes. Filter ad pour into the bath. Procedure should take since 5 till 20 minutes.

To make herbal bath you need to take in 3 parts of camomile and origanum, 4 parts of hop cones and 5 parts of motherwort and knotweed. Proportion the same - 100 gram of dry mixture for 2-3 liters of hot water. Use another recipe of herbal bath. Mix 4 parts of camomile, 5 parts of sea-buckthorn leaves, 3 parts of knotweed, 3 parts of viburnum branches, 3 parts of horse-tail and 2 parts of needles (branches of cedar, fir and pine-tree).

May is the month when you can use verdure from your garden for skin care. Try and make sure of its conspicuous whitening effect. For example you can make easy masks from verdure and kefir. You need 2 table-spoons of cut parsley, sorrel, spinach, common elder and strawberries. Blend all ingredients with 1 table-spoon of kefir or curdled milk.

To take freckles and pigmental spots away you should wet face with extract of parsley. To prepare extract, pour cut green with boiling water, and keep for some hours. Then filter and use for cosmetic procedures.

You can prepare lotion for moving freckles away from flowers of dandelions. Pour 12 flowers with 1 glass of boiled water (room temperature) and keep for 1-1,5 hours. Then filter and rub the face skin 3-4 times a day.

Another lotion for skin with freckles is made from dandelions too. Pour 2 table-spoons of flowers with 1-1/2 glass of hot water and boil for 10-15 minutes. Then filter and use for washings.

Some minutes for eyelids skin

Our eyes are our soul’s mirror, aren’t they? But one day you see not soul but eye-bags. Of course there are many various special creams against them but you’d better to use homemade means to take eye-bags away and to care about eyelids skin effectively.

The easiest way of eyelids skin care is to put sour cream on the skin under eyes and keep for 15 minutes. Then wash away with cold tea. Or grate carrot and put in the small gauze kerchief. Put then on the eyes for 15 minutes and then wash eyes with cold tea.

In the morning it’s very useful to make compresses from strong tea. Wet cotton tampon in the fresh strong tea and put on the eyelids for some minutes. Then wash the skin with cold water or clean the skin with ice-block.

Make light massage by yourself. With finger-pads you should carefully press skin above eyebrows, then on the eyebrows and then to direction from temples to eye-corners. Since 7 p.m. do not take water or any other drinks.

Bananas in skin care

Sure banana is your favorite fruit. Bananas are very useful in all its qualities. This fruit has cellulose, protein, potassium, provitamin A, macrocells, organic acid (apple one mainly), vitamins C, B, PP and E. Pulp of banana used in cosmetic masks has perfect emollient, moistening and smoothing effects. That’s why masks from bananas are very useful and necessary for all women.

Firstly I offer some banana masks for all types of skin. Knead 1 banana as puree and mix with 2 tea-spoons of free sugar yoghurt or oatmeal. Put on the face for 15-20 minutes. Knead 1 banana and mix with some milk. Put on the face and in 15-20 minutes wash the face with milk.

Masks for normal and dry skin. Knead 1 banana and mix with 1 tea-spoon of sour milk. Put on the face for 15-20 minutes and then wash with warm water. For more effect you should take a course from 20 such masks – every day or every other day. Also you can mix 1 kneaded banana with 1 tea-spoon of honey. Put on the face for 15-20 minutes and then wash the face with warm water.

For dry and withered skin you should mix pulp of 1 banana with 1 egg yolk and 1 tea-spoon of sour cream. Put on the face for 15-20 minutes and then wash the face with warm water. You’d better to make this mask 2-3 times a week. The whole course is 20 masks.

If your skin is greasy, you should take a course from 20 masks like this. Knead 1 banana with 1 tea-spoon of lemon juice. Put on the face for 15-20 minutes and then wash face with warm water. You’ll get another variant of this mask if you add 1 egg yolk in the mixture of banana and lemon juice.

Rosewater is considered as wonderful stimulator for skin. In summer, when roses are blooming with such sweet fragrance, you can prepare tonic for face from petals of these beautiful flowers. With the help of rose tonic your cheeks will turn pink and color of face will improve.

To make it you need 6 table-spoons of fresh rose petals, 1 tea-spoon of hazelnuts and 300 ml. of water. Pour rose petals with boiling water and keep to infuse for 30 minutes. Then filter the infusion, add hazelnut and shake. Save rose tonic in the fridge and use regularly.

Say “NO!” to wrinkles and crinkles

Good way to fight against wrinkles is tonic based on medicinal herbs or fruit juices with adding homemade wine (for dry skin) or vodka (for grease skin). Such tonics will help to make the skin alive, to strengthen tissues and to save skin healthy, flexible and elastic.

To prepare tonic for grease skin you should grate 5 cucumbers and add with petals of 2 arum lilies and 5 roses. Pour it with ½ liter of vodka. Keep for 3 weeks and then filter. Add 1 glass of boiled water to 1 glass of tincture, and also 2 table-spoons of glycerin and 2 table-spoons of lemon juice.

For women with dry skin I offer tonic from herbs. Take 30 g. of camomile, 20 g/ of peppermint, 10 g. of rosemary and 20 g. of calendula and pour it with 1 liter of white wine. Keep for 2 weeks and then filter.

Use tonics twice a day – in the morning and in the evening. After morning washing rub the face with tonic and keep to dry, putting the day cream on the face. In the evening rub the cleaned face skin and keep to dry. When face dries, wash it with warm water.

Masks for withered skin

Today I offer easy homemade masks for women after 40s. Withered and wrinkly skin can be cared successfully. Generally woman of any age should stay attractive and charming. Well, it’s the lotion for dry withered skin. Take 2 table-spoons of poppy petals and pour it with 200 ml. of boiling water. Keep for some hours and then filter. Ointment with this lotion is very useful for wrinkled skin.

If you have wrinkled skin with dilated pores, you should make the mask from sweet cherries. Knead some cherries to prepare ½ glass of squash and add 1 tea-spoon of honey and 1 tea-spoon of lemon juice.

Good remedy from wrinkles is vegetable marrow and its juice. Take 1 tea-spoon of vegetable marrow juice and add pulverized yolk, mix everything and put on the face for 15 minutes. Take the mask away with the wad wetted in warm water. Then rinse the face with cold water. You can make another mask from vegetable marrow. Put vegetable marrow’s slices on the face and keep for 20 minutes. Then wash the face with milk.

Here is the rejuvenesced mask for withered skin. Mix in equal parts grapes juice and raw milk (approximately in ¼ glass). Wet layer of cotton wool in the mixture and put on the face. Cover the mask with the bath towel. In 15-20 minutes take the mask away and put the age-specific cream.

And finally the vitamin mask. Grate celery root and mix with grated apple. Add some oat flour for thickening/ Put the mask on the face and keep for 15 minutes. Then wash the face with decoction from leaves and root of celery. All components of this miraculous mask moisten and tone up the skin of women at a mature age.

Milk wonders

Do you know that many well-known cosmetic companies use milk for making various rejuvenated and regenerating creams? Useful components contained in milk, such as vitamins, proteins, mineral matters, glycoprotein and so on, have the ability to renew skin cells. Milk is used as a basis of different tonics, cleansers, lotions, which moisten, soothe and nourish skin.

In the homemade cosmetology milk is considered like one of the most effective product of face and body care. Curd, kefir, clabber are fine whitened and peeled means. After washing face with milk, face skin looks fresh and shining. In summer with its dry air and sun rays we often suffer from overdried skin. In this case I offer to make milk baths time to time.

To prepare milk bath you should add 2 liters of whole milk in the water or put gauze bag with 2-3 table-spoons of dried milk. Also you can make milk infusion with herbs in advance. Take in 1 table-spoon of camomile, mint, lavender and marjoram and pour it with 2 liters of milk. Keep mixture for 2 hours, then filter and add in the bath.

During milk bath you can make milk mask to moisten and soften face skin. Mix in equal parts curd, milk, olive oil and carrot juice. Put on the face for some minutes.

Some tips of hair care

Sure you agree that hair is one of the best decorations of human appearance. It’s like a beautiful frame for your face. And to look better we should care about hair with love, because hair has its own likes and dislikes. For example, hair likes to be brushed every day before sleep for 5-10 minutes in different directions. In reply hair will be thick, bright and easy-styled.

Sometimes you need wash head with an egg. You should take 1 egg and add warm water stirring slowly. Wet hair with hot water and rub egg mixture into head skin. Then rinse hair with running water and comb. If you want to strengthen hair’s roots, wash the head as described above and then rub 1 yolk into head skin and cover head with thick towel. Keep for 10 minutes and then rinse hair with warm water.

If you have such possibility, wash the head with rain water. If you wet hair with sea-water, you have to rinse them with fresh water then. To make your hair soft, you should grease them with burdock oil.

And finally I’d like to offer two masks for light and dark hairs. For light hairs you’d better to use the mask from camomile and rosemary. Take 1 table-spoon of camomile and 1 table-spoon of rosemary and pour them with ¾ glass of vodka. Put infusion in to dark place for 2 weeks, shaking it regularly. Filter infusion through gauze into the bottle from dark glass and close hermetically. Twice a week rub infusion into head skin.

Mask for dark hairs is made from hob and thistle. Take some hob and thistle (cupped hand) and pour it with 1 liter of water. Boil mixture for 20 minutes and then filter. After washing head, rinse hair with infusion and enjoy the bright color of your hair.

Pay attention to your teeth

In spring women often have problems with gums. They begin to bleed, to cover with small ulcers. What should we do? Look! Herbs, vegetables and fruits hurry to help you. Most of all various rinsings are popular.

Decoction from oak bark helps to treat gums very well. Pour 1 table-spoon ground oak bark with 1 glass of water and keep in the water bath on the light fire for 15 minutes. Then filter. Rinse mouth with this decoction twice a day, in the morning and evening.
Also rinse mouth with warm extract of Acorus calamus. It is easy to make at home. Pour 1 tea-spoon of cut Acorus calamus rhizome with 1,5 glass of boiling water and infuse it for 2 hours. Then filter.

During spring “rheumatic pain” in teeth you can use lemon juice. Squeeze juice of half a lemon into ½ glass of warm boiling water and rinse mouth with this liquid some times a day.

Calendula is well-known by its fine antiphlogistic and bactericidal qualities. If you suffer from stomatitis and gingivitis you need to rinse mouth in the morning and evening with aqueous extract of calendula. Pour 10 gram of flowers with 1 glass of boiling water and keep for an hour.

Also you can follow my plain advices. In spring and early summer conifers are covered with fresh thorny leaves. You should chew fresh thorns, not swallowing. They have pleasant taste and at the same time they manage many problems with gums. Another way is to eat sauerkraut. It contains a lot of vitamin C, which is very useful for gums. Bon appetit!

If your hair too dry, try to nourish them with mask from coltsfoot. Take 4-5 big leaves of coltsfoot, cut them very small and pour with 1 glass of milk in the ceramic dish. Add 1 tea-spoon of drawn honey and mix all ingredients. Put the mixture on the head skin and rub into hair on its length. Cover head with polyethylene and towel above. In 25-30 minutes wash hair with any soft shampoo. Make such procedure 3-4 times a month.

If your hair too greasy, make hair lotion from oak bark. Take 2 table-spoons of ground oak bark and 2 table-spoons of willow bark and pour with 1,5 glass of boiling water in the enamel ware. Keep for 1 hour. Filter decoction through gauze and add 1 table-spoon of vinegar. Before washing the head, put lotion on the head skin and on the hair. Cover head with polyethylene and towel above and keep for 30-45 minutes. Then wash the head with special shampoo for greasy hair.

If you suffer from seborrhea, treat hair with this mask. Take 4-5 fresh leaves of coltsfoot, cut them and pour with 2 glasses of boiling water in the enamel ware. Close with cover and keep on the water bath for 30 minutes. Then filter and pour to ceramic dish. Add 2 table-spoons of olive oil and mix. Put the mask on the hair and head skin, cover head with polyethylene and towel above and keep for 40 minutes. Then rinse hair with warm water with citric acid or vinegar.

If you have dandruff, itch and hair shedding, you should make infusion from coltsfoot leaves. Take 4-5 big leaves of coltsfoot, cut them and pour with ½ liter of boiling water in the enamel ware. Close with cover and keep for 30 minutes. Put it on the hair with wads of cotton wool wetted in the infusion. Cover the head with cotton towel and keep for 30-40 minutes. Then wash hair with soft shampoo and finally rinse with infusion. You should use only makeup infusion.

Herbal masks for skin care

Sure you can find a lot of different articles in net about use of herbs. Really herbs contain vitamins, biogenic stimulators, phytoncids, and natural hormones. All these useful components have salutary effect for skin, improve metabolism, and help to solve many skin problems.

Coltsfoot mask for greasy skin is easy to make. Prepare gruel from clean leaves of coltsfoot and put on the face. For dry skin you should pound clean leaves of coltsfoot, add ground raspberry, blackberry and viburnum. Put the cream on the face and add mask from clean leaves above. Keep for 10-15 minutes and then wash the face with warm water.

Here is recipe of infusion from sage for dry and sensitive skin. Take 2 table-spoons cut sage and pour it with 2 glasses of boiling water, keep before cooling and then filter. Infusion from sage is used for cleaning face and neck. Also from sage infusion you can make warm and cold compresses against eyes’ bags. Pour 1 tea-spoon of sage with ½ glass of boiling water. Keep for 10-15 minutes, filter and divide in half. Then cool one half of infusion and warm another half. Put cotton tampons wetted in hot and cold infusions on the eyelids in turn for 10 minutes. It’s better to make this procedure before sleep in a day.

For greasy skin I offer the cleanser from horse-tail infusion. Pour 1 table-spoon of horse-tail with 1 glass of cold water. Boil for 20 minutes and then filter decoction. Before sleep clean the face with infusion and horse-tail will dry the skin a little. Don’t forget if your skin has any allergic reactions; consult with a doctor before using herbal masks.

Make easy masks for face skin from cultivated berries

This mask for dry skin nourishes, moistens and whitens face skin. Mix ¼ glass of gooseberry juice with ¼ glass of milk. Wet some layers of gauze in it and put on the face. Also put the wet towel above. Keep for some minutes and then wash the face.

Here is mask for sensitive skin of face. You should mix 2 tea-spoons of red currant juice, 1 tea-spoon of curds and 1 tea-spoon of honey. Put the mixture on the face and in 15 minutes wash with cold water. Also you can make another mask. Mix 1 tea-spoon of curds with 1 tea-spoon of honey and add 2 tea-spoons of gooseberry juice. Put the mask for 10-15 minutes and then wash with cold water.

If your skin is normal you can make a mask from raspberry. Wet a napkin in the raspberry juice and put on the face for 15 minutes. Then take away mask and wash the face with cool water. This mask cleans and nourishes face skin. Or take 1 table-spoon of raspberries and mix with 1 table-spoon of honey. Put the mixture on the face for some minutes. This mask moistens skin very well.

And finally it’s mask for greasy skin from cherry. Wet a napkin in fresh cherry juice and put on the face for 15-20 minutes. Then wash the face with cool water. Also you can make the mask from apricot. Mash some apricots and mix with sour milk (1:1) and put on the face. Keep for 15-20 minutes and wash with cold water.

Yoghurt in the skin care

Yoghurt is very useful product, which you can use successfully in the care of face skin, body and hairs. To feel the magic cosmetic force of yoghurt you need small quantity of it. You will be surprised how it’s easy and effective in use.

Mask from yoghurt for face and neck. Mix 2 table-spoons of yoghurt with 2 table-spoons of yeast and add vitamin E in the oil. Put the mixture on the face and neck for 20 minutes and then wash with warm water.

Moistening and cleansing mask for body. You need 500 grams of natural yoghurt. Smear your body with yoghurt beginning from neck to ankles. In 15-20 minutes add some yoghurt on the callous parts of skin, especially on the elbows and lap. After this procedure take a warm shower and then rinse the body with cool water. You’ll see the body skin is unusually tender and silky.

Washing with yoghurt will help your face skin to get amazing softness and tenderness. For better effect wash the face with any scrub, then rub honey into skin and put grated cucumber on the face. In a minute rinse the face with warm water and wash with yoghurt.

And finally make cocktail with yoghurt for thin and slowed hairs. You should mix 6 table-spoons of natural yoghurt with 1 egg. Put the mixture on the head skin. Wrap warm towel around the head for 10-15 minutes and then wash the head. Make this mask once a week.

Cabbage against freckles

Spring has just come and many women began to suffer from freckles. It’s a pity that they don’t know about one tried remedy – cabbage, which has bleaching effect. Today I offer some recipes for face skin with freckles from cabbage. Sure everyone finds this vegetable in the fridge at home. My recipes fit to all types of face skin.

It’s a mask from cabbage with mayonnaise. Mix in 1 tea-spoon of ground fresh cabbage, sauerkraut and parsley. Add 2 tea-spoons of mayonnaise. Mask is ready. Also prepare ½ glass of juice from fresh cabbage. Put the mask on the face and keep for 30 minutes. Then take away the dried mask and clean the skin with wad of cotton wool wetted in the cabbage juice. You should make such masks every 3 days.

To intensify the effect from mask described above, you should clean the face skin with cabbage lotion some times a day. It’s very easy to make. Mix ½ glass of sauerkraut’s brine with ½ glass of cold boiling water. And the effective lotion is ready.

Generally you will be able to prevent appearance of freckles if you drink 1/3 glass of sauerkraut juice in the morning and 1 glass of milk in the evening. Use offered mask and lotion from cabbage regularly and don’t stay under straight sun rays.

Three easy masks for any type of skin

Beat yolk of 1 egg; add 1 tea-spoon of lemon juice, cognac and 3% hydrogen peroxide. Mix and put the mask on the face by brush. When it dries, put one more layer. Keep the mask on the face for 15-20 minutes and then wash the face. This mask makes better the color of face skin, and whitens a little.

Knead the pulp of melon by fork and to leave for 1-2 hours. Then squeeze the juice from melon and pour into glass bowl. Add 2 table-spoons of honey and 1 tea-spoon of salt. Mix, filter and add 1 glass of vodka. Wipe clean skin by lemon lotion and don’t dry for 1-2 hours. Keep the lotion in the cold place. This mask moistens face skin very good.

Knead 2 table-spoons of sea-buckthorn berries and mix with 1 table-spoon of sour cream. Apply the thin and even layer of mask to face and stay for 20-25 minutes. Then wash the face by warm water. Repeat this procedure 2-3 times a week for 1.5-2 months. Your face skin will become healthy and well-groomed.

Apple vinegar for skin care

An apple vinegar, retentive all useful qualities of apples, is very popular product in cosmetology. Also people use this product for skin care. You can make simple tonic for problem teenager’s skin too. Add 1 table-spoon of apple vinegar to 1 glass of boiling water. Keep the mixture in the closed sterilized bottle. Use tonic in the morning and evening.

If your palms sweat, you should keep hands in the solution of apple vinegar time to time. Add 2-3 tea-spoons of vinegar to 1 liter of water and keep hands in the solution for 10 minutes. In the night clean the sweaty skin with apple vinegar.

You can use apple vinegar for strengthening of nails. If you have fragile nails you should make the procedure I offer. Mix apple vinegar and vegetable oil in equal proportions. Keep hands in the mixture for 10-15 minutes. Do it 1-2 times a week.

If your hair too dry

If hair is too dry, we are usually recommended to use lotions from citrus plants: mandarins, oranges, and grapefruit. Yes, it’s a good offer and we will try to make such lotion at home. Here is the recipe of mandarin-peels lotion.

Take mandarin-peels and crush them up carefully. Put in the glass dish and spill vodka (2 glasses of vodka for 1 glass crushed peels). Close up the glass with prepared infusion and keep 10 days in the dark place. Then filter lotion through two layers of gauze and add 2 tea-spoons of boiling water.

Before head washing you should divide hair to single locks and clean head skin with mandarin lotion. Put cotton fabric on the head. Keep for 30 minutes and then wash hair with soft shampoo for dry hair. Finally rinse hair with acidulous water.

Salt ice and pumpkin against acne

If you have acne rash on face skin, I advise you to clean skin with salt ice, which you can make by yourself easily. Dissolve 1 table-spoon of salt in 1 glass of boiling water. Freeze salt water in the ice cups in the fridge. Massage the face with a block of ice until thawing. When face skin will take up, wash the face.

Then make a mask from pumpkin. Cover acne rash with pulp of fresh pumpkin. Keep for some minutes and then wash the face. Also you should remember that one of the most effective remedies against acne is pumpkin seeds. Eat seeds as often as possible and enjoy your beautiful skin.

Milk and sage for eyelids skin

If you see bags and dropsical eyelids, you should use my simple recipe. To take bags away you need to clean eyelids skin with piece of ice made from water or milk every day. Also you should do contrasting eyewashes – warm and cold.

Warm eyewashes are made from milk, which is diluted with water half. Cold eyewashes are made from sage infusion. To prepare sage infusion you need pour 1 tea-spoon of sage with ½ glass of boiling water. Keep for 2-3 hours and then filter. Begin from warm eyewashes and finish with cold ones. It must be about 5 alternations.
