Winter skin care secrets. Part 2.

To protect dry skin even in severe frost it is recommended to use a mixture including two teaspoons of lanolin cream, one teaspoon of zinc ointment and one teaspoon of zinc pharmacy lard. The thin layer of the mixture may be applied to skin before going out.

Oily skin is also needed to be protected and nourished. Nutrient does not mean fat. In most nutritional products with a rich texture, there is always a light version that is perfect for oily skin.

You can also use special vitamin oils. They are quickly absorbed, nourish skin, regulate the production of serum and don’t leave oily sheen. Be aware to select oils with caution because not all oils are appropriate for the face. Look for non-clogging oils such as avocado oil, mineral oil, primrose oil, or almond oil.

Coconut oil is a well-known source of beauty, although you may not know that consuming a tablespoon of coconut oil a day does wonders for the skin. Coconut oil is the richest source of natural lauric acid. Fats in coconut oil are similar to fats in breast milk and have the same nutritional properties and make the skin soft.
